I saw guest_age do this, and while my friendslist is not all that fannish, I thought it would be fun.

I stole the text explaining the meme directly from her, so I apologize in advance.

I'm going to put my iPod on shuffle, and list a lyric (not necessarily the first one, just a lyric period) from whatever the first ten songs to come on are. You guess what the song is, and if you guess it right, then you give me a fandom and a pairing or a character, and I'll write you a drabble using the song as a prompt (could be the lyric I listed, could be a different one from the same song, but that song will serve as the inspiration). So, for instance, if I list the lyric as I've heard this life is over-rated, but I hope that it gets better as we go. then you might guess "Here Without You" - 3 Doors Down, and maybe you want a Harry Potter fic that is Harry/Ron or whatever.

The drabble will be between 100 and 500 words, but expect them to be closer to 100. I will write any fandom that I've seen/read, and I reserve the right to refuse on the basis that I don't know enough about the fandom. Things I like to write include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Queer As Folk, and M*A*S*H, but I've dabbled in many fandoms and am open for a challenge.
